Our club welcomes new players and members of all ages. We also help to teach Ultimate Frisbee in Schools and clubs in the local area. We have a number of junior players at Guildford Ultimate currently.
Our foremost aim is to positively promote the sport of Ultimate Frisbee both to our members and the local community to all who wish to play. Guildford Ultimate therefore adopted the UK Ultimate (http://www.ukultimate.com/about) safeguarding policy to ensure the wellbeing of our junior members. Guildford Ultimate welcomes young players and encourages parents/carers as well as schools and the local community to help young players get involved. If you are under the age of 18 or are enquiring on behalf of those under age please read below for more details.
Safeguarding Children and Young People through UK Ultimate, the governing body of Ultimate in the UK, recognises our responsibility towards creating and maintaining a culture that protects children and young people. The safeguarding policy helps clubs to support children and young people through a framework set to build a culture of safeguarding.
